Browhaus/Strip
nolita; new york, ny
This New York flagship for an international upscale grooming boutique fused two brands within a narrow Soho storefront. Articulation of the brands is accomplished through bright colors and novel use of raw materials such as chain link fencing, step ladders and exposed light bulbs. Private treatment rooms are defined as a series of discrete, offset boxes clad in plaster and
imprinted by hand with horizontal bands of wood grain. Close coordination with the overseas designers of all product, artwork, signage, furniture & fixtures insured a smooth construction
process on a tight schedule.
